Common Management Admission Test (C.M.A.T) is an online computer-based test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), India. C.M.A.T 2019 Total Procedure

By 2011, there were a number of entrance exams for management programmes in India. Format of C.M.A.T

C.M.A.T is a three-hour test. In 2012, it was conducted in a period of nine days (20–28 February) in two shifts at 61 locations in all over India. The better of two scores will be used for admission for 2014-15. The question paper comprises four sections:

  • Quantitative technique
  • Logical reasoning
  • Language comprehension
  • General Awareness

AICTE has now decided to conduct C.M.A.T in Foreign Countries for facilitating eligible NRIs/PIOs and foreign nationals to appear in C.M.A.T for seeking admission in institutions in India following C.M.A.T merit list for 2014-15 under special provisions defined in AICTE Approval Process and against all vacancies left after completion of centralized admission in management institutions. C.M.A.T Eligibility

AICTE has certified the qualification criteria to appear for C.M.A.T, which must be fulfilled by every one of the applicants interested in taking this test. Common Management Admission Test

C.M.A.T 2019 exam date is January 28, 2019. The C.M.A.T 2019 will be conducted by the newly created testing agency for higher education – The National Testing Agency (NTA) instead of AICTE. The NTA- C.M.A.T will be held in two shifts on Monday January 28, 2019. The first shift of C.M.A.T 2019 exam will be from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and the second shift of C.M.A.T 2019 exam is scheduled from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. MAT 2019 Registration process closes on December 7, 2018 at 11.50 PM. The C.M.A.T 2019 registration last date has been extended to December 7, 2018 from earlier November 30, 2018. The C.M.A.T registration link is placed at ntaC.M.A.T.nic.in.

National Testing Agency (NTA)

NTA, a newly created test conducting body, is conducting the entire C.M.A.T 2019 exam process along with other exams which were conducted by other agencies earlier. NTA will use highly secured IT software and encryption to ensure delivery of tests just in time. This will ensure no leakages and other malpractices. NTA has replaced AICTE as exam conducting authority. AICTE conducted C.M.A.T exam till 2018. C.M.A.T is now known as NTA-C.M.A.T instead of AICTE-C.M.A.T. The National Testing Agency is entrusted to address all the issues related to test preparation, test delivery and test marking. The National Testing Agency is to assess competence of candidates for admissions, standard of exam, efficiency, transparency and error free Test delivery of C.M.A.T and other exams.
